The Programme

We have been delivering Summit expertise to our clients since we were first established nearly 20 years ago in 2004. As our clients wanted to work more with us on a nearshore basis, we set up our Bucharest Nearshore Centre of Excellence in 2008. Fast forward to present, we are Finastra’s highest ranked Summit Partner and the only Summit Partner to obtain Tier 3 Fusion Orbit Partnership status. This also means that we are Finastra’s Global Preferred Partner for Summit Implementations and Summit Managed Services. Currently we have more than 300 experts across all our lines of business globally within Phi and our Summit team is maintaining momentum and continuing to grow.

Our Summit practice takes on a range of projects with our clients ranging from strategic Summit ecosystem analysis and advisory to multi-year run and change-the-bank Application Managed Services. We have direct access to the most exciting Summit programmes across the global such as Summit Greenfield Implementations for brand new clients, multi-instance Summit consolidations and global portfolio migrations into Summit. As we continue to drive forward the change and innovation within the Summit industry, not only will have direct access into the latest and exciting Summit projects but also developing your skillset alongside world-class Summit specialists.

Roles and Responsibilities

We are looking for both functional or technical Summit Support Analysts to join Phi. You have the crucial role of:

  • Effectively communicating with key stakeholders on a daily basis, participating in the service setup transition, and ensuring that all team activities follows the relevant standards;
  • Resolving any front-to-back users’ issues that arise from day-to-day operations and the implementation process;
  • Setting-up, scheduling and running jobs, as well as setting up batch environments end-to-end for UAT/Regression purposes;
  • Identification, reporting and resolution of issues, and support the business users throughout UAT;
  • Dependant on the Client’s project, you may occasionally be required to provide on-call support.
Key Skills

The ideal candidate should have:

  • 4+ years of Summit experience working on upgrade project or other Summit change programmes;
  • Good knowledge of financial markets and products (e.g. Bonds, Equities, Repos, Swaps, FRA & FX);
  • Overall technical skills in Windows, Unix, SQL, PowerShell/Python, and C++/C#;
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, owning results and stepping in as problem solver when needed;
  • Proven experience in resolving incidents and user requests in a timely manner using ITSM tools;
  • Excellent abilities as a team player and a confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills;
  • The ability to produce clear documentation for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Additionally, prior experience working with Batch tools (UC4, Control-M, JAMS) and knowledge around Summit architecture (RT servers) would be highly desirable.
