Last week, Phi supported the first FinOps Community gathering in Bulgaria. 

The event brought together professionals from across financial technology. It created a space for open discussion, learning, and collaboration. 

The initial session focused on FinOps in AI workloads across multi-cloud environments. It was not just a presentation. It was a real conversation, with ideas shared from different perspectives. This made the discussion practical and engaging. Yordan Dabov explored the real challenges of controlling costs when AI workloads span Azure, Google Cloud, and AWS. He shared practical approaches to visibility, allocation, and optimisation across multiple cloud providers. 

​A special thank you to the founders and organisers who made this happen, including Yordan Dabov and Ivaylo Vrabchev. Their effort is building a strong foundation for the community. It was great to have contributions from experienced professionals with a mix of skills.  

This initiative is timely and much needed as FinOps becomes ever more critical. Phi was pleased to support this in-person event. We believe communities like this, for sharing knowledge and building better ways of working, improve practice and outcomes for all. 

This was just the start. The community has the potential to grow quickly and make a real impact. If you are a FinOps practitioner, cloud architect, finance leader, or just curious about cloud cost optimisation; then join us to discuss the issues that matter to you for example around your challenges; how things work in the context you work within, and the tools and dashboards you are using.
