The Summit QA Consultant role will concentrate on an integration project within one of the largest
fintech companies in the world, offering the broadest portfolio of solutions for financial institutions of
all sizes. The client’s headquarter is in London, it has offices in 42 countries and a revenue of more
than U.S. $1.9 billion. The company employs over 9,000 people across 130 countries. This collateral
integration project involves a collaboration with Cloud Margin, who has created the world's first cloudbased collateral management workflow tool. This role will provide you the opportunity of being partof the core development process and also strike the crucial balance between finance knowledge,
testing skills and technical aspects in a fast paced and complex environment.
Within this role, the consultant will be designing and implementing test strategies based on the
business requirements and individual input whilst cooperating with Development, Customer Support
and Product Management teams. This will involve working closely with the development team to
report and fix software issues, whilst also validating the solutions provided. In addition, the consultant
will be contributing to all software testing types including functional, regression, automation and
performance testing, as well as acting as a software quality advocate throughout all phases of the
software development lifecycle. Feedback on the quality of the products will be given through testing
progress reports and through communication with the project team and stakeholders.
To effectively carry out this role, Phi is looking for a candidate with 5+ years of experience in the
Summit Back Office operations and accounting area accompanied by a solid understanding of software
testing and financial knowledge related to capital market concepts. On a technical level, this entails
experience with user interface technologies, database queries, Kubernetes and JIRA in conjunction
with test management tools such as Octane and methodologies such as Agile or SAFe. As this role is
heavily reliant on effective interparty communication, the ideal candidate will be a confident and
organised communicator that is analytically minded and quickly able to grasp new concepts.
