Summit API Developer

One of our clients is the largest bank in Cyprus by market penetration, with 83% of Cypriots having an
active account, and having €22 Billion Assets Under Management. Being over 100 years old, this bank
has seen a reliable and steady growth pattern that has resulted in its being the largest listed company
on the Cyprus Stock Exchange by market capitalization.
As the deadline for the IBOR transition fast approaches, British and American regulators are pushing
for the partial abolition of LIBOR interest rate for GBP and USD. Our client is currently still live on
Summit V6.0, which they upgraded to in 2018, and as such is planning to undergo a Summit V6.2
upgrade in parallel to the RFR implementation in order to access all of the RFR functionalities, with a
planned go-live date of early 2022. Phi will be supplying a team of experts in order to carry this out,
taking responsibility for project management, test management and test case planning.
In order to ensure that the upgrade is carried out seamlessly, we are looking for a Summit API
Developer with 10+ years of experience who is able to install Summit V6.2, as well as any other 3rd
party packages. More specifically, this will include conversion and upgrade of the database, resolution
of compilation issues and configuration of middleware. Given the pivotal role that you will be playing
in this upgrade, you will fixing any software issues that arise in both the front end and back end, as
well as creating the technical runbook. These tasks will culminate in you leading the go live and post-go live support as the upgrade itself is completed.
The ideal Summit Developer for this role will have proven experience in summit set-up and
installation, in addition to extensive exposure to summit upgrades and the nuanced steps that this
involves. Technically, we are looking for someone who has strong experience in C++, ideally with
knowledge of SQL concepts, XML formats and Straight Through Processing. These skills will be
complemented by knowledge of Batch Processing, Server implementation instructions and Gateway
Loader as well as having experience in Bonds, Market Data, Collateral management and credit Limits.

as are advanced problem solving capabilities.
