Sophis Risk Technical Business Analyst
With our exceptional capacity of Sophis consultants on both buy-side and sell-side, we offer a full range of Sophis Consulting Services to our clients. We specialise in complex projects, providing our consultants with invaluable experiences to reference and an opportunity to grow their capabilities.
We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Sophis Risk Business Analyst to be part of the Project Team implementing testing and validating the new Risk Analytics Factory module for one of our asset management clients. The Risk Business Analyst will put in place the required setup scenarios to enable the Analytics Factory module to be a success, including: Performance Attribution, Performance Calculation (ex-post), Parametric VaR (ex-ante), Stress test and HVaR (absolute and relative).
The BA will also need to historicize all the funds data to the risk schema. The analyst will identify areas for improvement with respect to application stability, monitoring and the automation of processes, and develop and maintain excellent working relationships with the client stakeholders and individual users.
The ideal candidate will be a graduate of technology, finance or mathematics, with proven knowledge on the Risk areas of Sophis: Risk Indicators, Volatility and Stress tests (on the most recent versions). The BA must also be able to read and debug logs. A successful applicant will have basic technical knowledge in Oracle SQL, scripting, Windows and FI services - or an interest in obtaining this. We need somebody who is a good team player with a positive attitude and an ability to successfully multi-task.
This project will give you an opportunity to work in a fast-paced and highly-rewarding environment on a crucial upgrade for a leading Asset Manager. You will obtain exposure to the latest version of Fusion Invest as well as experience with a greenfield implementation of the new Risk Module. You will have the opportunity to be mentored by the leading experts within the industry, and participate in the continued growth of Phi’s Sophis Practice.
