(Sophis) Fusion Invest Functional Support Analyst
Location: Bucharest, Romania
We are looking for a hands-on Fusion Invest Functional Support Analyst to be part of one of our Support teams based in Bucharest. The analyst will gain the opportunity to support one of our biggest clients – a global banking organisation which focuses on ethical and sustainable finance. The wider Support Team will comprise the Support Manager and a Technical Support Analyst, which will working closely with a Change team working with the same client.
The ongoing service will include analysis and resolution of service tickets (incidents, requests) and developing and maintaining excellent working relationships with the client stakeholders and individual users. It will also involve user training and the documentation of “quick cards”. The analyst will be expected to proactively propose improvements, properly log support activities in the appropriate workflow tool and assist with preparation of support service reports, if required. The analyst will participate in test planning and test execution, an on-call rota, as well as reporting and tracking defects with Finastra.
We are looking for a graduate of technology, finance or mathematics with some prior knowledge of Sophis Value / Fusion Invest; preferably with at least three years of experience. The analyst must have an understanding of functional Fusion Invest modules (e.g. PnL, Cash, NAV and Market Value) and portfolio and transaction columns. We would like to see some experience working in a functional application support role, or an interest in taking a support role.
It is essential to have good understanding of the financial products traded in the Capital Markets space, e.g. Swaps, Options, FX, Equities, as well as an idea of the business flow for Front Office, Back Office and Risk. It would also be beneficial to be culturally intelligent or to have had some experience working with Middle Eastern clients.
