Senior Java Developer
Our client is a leading global bank with one of the largest customer bases in Japan and also an extensive international network covering financial and business centres around the world. They are primarily focusing on investment banking services, custody and administration, asset management business with more than 50,000 employees and 1, 8 trillion AUM.
Our client have currently under development an application that has as a final objective to become an internal Systematic Internalised Status Manager tool according with the MIFID II legislative framework. MiFID II was instituted by the European Union to regulate financial markets in the bloc and improve protections for the investors. The client application is developed for the stakeholders in order to be informed about the legal entity, before to do a trade with the bank. As a result, Phi is looking to on-board a Senior Core Java Developer in order to be able to support this ambitious project.
The application is currently in the middle of the development and the client is looking to finish it in a couple of months. For this reason the candidate needs to be able to develop strategic solutions and to be responsible for Mifid II and SFTR regulatory implementation. The consultant will have responsibilities that includes automation of data quality report and implementation of short codes used for trade reporting to exchanges. Basically the developer needs to be able to download static data for storage in MongoDB database and Hazelcast cost platform in order to be sure that the SI status is deliverable to the relevant applications from the front office.
To effectively carry out this niched role, Phi is looking for a candidate that is an expert Java Developer with strong experience in the investment banking domain. From a technical perspective the developer will be required to have strong knowledge in Scala, Spark, Impala, Java 8/J2EE and Spring Boot. Therefore, previous experience in technologies such as Hazelcast, G-Unit and MongoDB, are considered to be mandatory.
