Murex FO Business Analyst
Location: Bucharest, Romania
We have partnerships with many top trading technology vendors, one of which is Murex. Phi are in the expansion phase and, we are ramping up our Murex operations globally thanks to successful deliveries ratio, which leads to increasing client requirements and project assignments for remote support from our nearshore delivery centre in Euro Tower, Bucharest. For instance, we have recently on boarded two new clients, who are the investment banking arms of a major Canadian Bank and one of the biggest Asian Banking Group.
During this period of time we have successfully supported the clients across various departments by providing them with strong Murex delivery and leadership capability. In particular, a few years ago, our clients decided to move away from their legacy systems onto Murex as their main front to back cross-asset trading platform following various phases based on priorities and complexities. The next upcoming projects for our Murex practice will be a wide range of implementation, upgrade and integration projects across clients’ businesses.
We are looking for highly skilled Murex Front Office Business Analysts, who will be working alongside with our clients’ RTB and CTB functions whilst providing ongoing support in BAU trading activities post Mx.3 system implementation. The role requires the business analysts to be involved throughout the full project life cycle that include but not limit to perform implementation of Mx.3.1 systems. The business analysts will be liaising with traders from all major trading desks to understand the requirements and communicate back to the technical team. The business analysts are also expected to be able to explain greeks and perform P&L, cash flow analysis.
As a member of the delivery team, the business analysts should have at least 5 years of Murex implementation and integration experience with proven skills and understanding of the interest rate swaps and all types of risk, including market risk and credit risk. The candidate should have extensive experience in configuration of e-Tradepad set up, cash flow analysis and Simulation views. In addition, the ideal candidate will have proven experience in pricing, as well as in end-to-end workflow of a trade in the Murex platform (with good knowledge of credit/market risk and how it feeds into Murex). Also, understanding of payoffs across different derivatives is considered to be essential in executing the job.
It would be highly beneficial if you have experience in working with MLC, Datamart and source code control and configuration on Murex such as Reformx or MXConfig. Along with strong communication skills, it would also be desired if the candidate has understanding of end of day Murex batch processes.
