The team is based in Europe, primarily in UK and Bulgaria, serving the Phi Partners customers globally.

Financial market organisations who are looking to adopt a specific enterprise to the public cloud will strongly rely on Phi Partners to architect, develop, migrate and operate the existing environments to the relevant public cloud platform. The Cloud Managed Services Lead will lead the Public Cloud Managed Services near-shore (Sofia, BG) team.The team, through the lead’s management and oversight will be focusing on ongoing operations and optimisations to ensure that the environments are secure, compliant, cost-effective, resilient and high performing.Responsabilities
Establishment and management off a high performing, diverse team of Cloud Operations DevOps Engineers to insure world-class customer service for the managed service provider business
Sets strategic and tactical priorities that align with business objectives: Responsible for settings goals, career discussions and performance and remuneration evaluation;
Manage and oversee the day-to-day activities of the team ensuring adherence to standards, best practices, and methodology: Staff planning, workforce management, leading, motivating and coaching, shift schedules preparation;
Act as a managed services delivery lead to ensure the quality of the service
Proactively identify, manage, and communicate issues and risks, escalating as appropriate to Senior Management
Design and maintain process documentation for the service delivery team
Help coordinate collaboration between teams from different business units
Implement dashboards to track Key Performance Indicators (CSAT, Headcount, utilization) and show insights to indicate proactive change to the customer's environments
Lead by example, motivate, mentor and coach to maintain employee satisfaction to the maximum possible extent
The workwill be mainly office based, as the Phi Partners Sofia, BG managed services centre, but someinternational travel may be necessary for customer interaction

About You, Your Skills and ExperienceYou should possess the ability to manage environments ranging from medium-sized to large-scale, whether in the cloud or on-premises data centres. The challenges faced by each customer may vary and you must possess the drive to find the optimal solutions. Furthermore, it is important for you to be open to learning and staying up-to-date with the latest technological advancementsThe following skills will aid in success in this role; however, we do not expect candidates to possess all of them except fluency in English.For the Cloud Managed Services Lead role, we would expect you to have the following:
Strong customer focus and good business acumen
Effective communication skills, both oral and written
Very good people skills and ability to lead and mentor
Deep understanding and knowledge of building observability, incident response management
Good understanding of Security Best Practices and industry trends
Good knowledge on Azure or/and AWS
Networking and Internetworking: VPN, LAN, WAN routing & switching basics
Good understanding of Virtualization and Containerization technologies
Server Operating Systems: Proficient in deploying and managing Linux and/or Windows systems
Scripting – any of the following: Python, Ruby, GoLang, Bash and PowerShell
Proficient in building and managing enterprise-grade CI/CD

Managing fast growing teams
Expertise in configuring and managing network platforms provided by industry-recognised leaders like Cisco, Palo Alto
Data Layer – Relational Database, No-SQL, Data Warehousing, Data Lakes
Version Control Systems - GitLab, BitBucket
Configuration Management tools – Chef, Puppet, System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)
Identity Providers and Single Sign One tools – Active Directory (AD), AD Federation Service, OKTA and Azure SSO
Infrastructure as a code (IaC) experience – Pulumi, CDK, Azure Resource Manage, Google Deployment Manager, AWS CloudFormation, etc.
Compliance: ISO 27001, SOC1/2/3 Personal Data Protection in Europe, PCI/DSS
Due to the demands of the role, we would expect you to have between 2 and 5 years’experience in Technical Support, Customer Service or Account Management and be educated at Bachelor's degree level in Computer Science or an equivalent IT degree.Why should you join our team?
