About the Programme
Our client’s Structured Rates and Analytics group oversees the risk calculation, analytics, modelling and pricing across the bank’s Risk and Capital platforms. The client is now investing in a major transformation of their booking and analytics platforms in their Structured Rates space. This is a very exciting program for the bank which has a significant amount of business buy-in to improve the tooling they use today.
As part of this program they are building out non-Excel based tools for the Structured and Flow rates trading desks. These tools require fundamental changes in their analytics library. The client will be looking to modernise the existing APIs in their analytics library so that flow and rates products can be easily constructed and displayed. They will then integrate the library with a modern HTML5-based frontend that traders and sales will use to price and book these products.
