Our Summit practice takes on a range of projects with our clients ranging from strategic Summit ecosystem analysis and advisory to multi-year run and change-the-bank Application Managed Services. Roles and Responsibilities We are looking for a Summit API Developer to work alongside our current consultants in supporting the client. You will be: Analysing the logs and output from automated test cases regarding the Summit upgrade, logging any potential regression defects; Merging the Summit upgrade changes (code and data model) from developer branches to official Test environments; Investigating defects found in manual test suite for upgrading Summit, and where needed, logged defects to Finastra with complete investigation; Building and loading any new modules and business processes during the upgrade; Involved in depth for technical aspect of modifying the existing customisation code to adapt to the new targeted Summit version; Responsible for fixing any software issues that arise in both the front end and back end; Playing an active role with the team in addressing bug-fixes and regulatory tasks; Assisting with identification, reporting and resolution of issues or defects, and will support the business users throughout UAT; At times conducting data analysis, and ultimately delivering solution recommendations and implementation; Involved in the go live and post-go live support as the Summit version upgrade is completed. Key Skills For this role, the ideal candidate will have: 9+ years of hands-on Summit development experience with recent Summit V6.3 experience; Deep understanding of the Summit API, Summit Datamodel, C++, and ideally with knowledge of SQL concepts, XML formats and Straight Through Processing; Solid understanding of Summit capabilities across front to back-office and accounting, how to configure & test these; A sound grasp of general functional topics across front to back-office; The ability to setup and maintain the SDLC through Development, Test, UAT and Production, including software versioning systems and the use of JIRA; Broad knowledge on financial products such as Money Markets, Swaps and Bonds; Confidence as a communicator with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to produce clear documentation; Related Jobs Sophis/ Fusion Invest Front Office Business Analyst Summit API Developer Atoti (ActivePivot) Developer Summit Business Analyst Summit Support Analyst View more
